Four-zone RGB editing
Edit roof light, upper ambient line, lower ambient line, and door-pocket/footwell RGB values for each supported color scheme.
Edit supported BDC2 and BDC3 ambient-lighting colors directly from NCD files with an interactive interior preview and protected BMWVetGroup member access.
Upload a supported BDC2 or BDC3 NCD file and the editor identifies the ambient-lighting structure, loads the vehicle's existing color data, and presents it as editable RGB controls and color-scheme selections.
Edit roof light, upper ambient line, lower ambient line, and door-pocket/footwell RGB values for each supported color scheme.
Edit the seven shared BDC3 RGB colors and choose which library colors each scheme uses for the main and contour/upper areas.
The web interface renders a live interior preview so color assignments can be reviewed before the modified NCD is created.
The source NCD is not overwritten. The tool returns a separate BMWVetGroup-modified NCD for the technician's coding workflow.
Editing remains disabled until the tool positively detects a supported BDC2 or BDC3 ambient-lighting structure.
Supported binary NCD data and S2 S-record content are parsed and regenerated in their appropriate format.
The editor changes only the RGB/library and scheme-selection locations exposed through the ambient-lighting interface.
Eligible BMWVetGroup member accounts can activate a one-time 48-hour trial. Administrator accounts have unrestricted tool access.
NCD data is handled in request memory and is not written to persistent server storage, the database, or object storage.
The editor uses the same protected account, entitlement, trial, and security framework as the other BMWVetGroup tools.
